The second summer 2014 exhibit at Davidson Town Hall atrium is “Between the Lines: Works by Franklin Kernes.” Kernes is a Mooresville native who studied graphic design at Art Institute of Charlotte. He’s now a graphic artist at PostNet in Davidson.
Artist influences include: Jackson Pollock, Jean Michel Basquiat, Pablo Picasso, M.C. Escher, Banksy, Keith Haring & many more.
His artwork can be seen on his website, as well as in various coffee shops and studios in the Lake Norman area.
An artist reception is planned Friday, July 25, from 6:30 to 8:30pm. The exhibit will remain on view through Sept. 12, 2014. Davidson Town Hall is at 216 S. Main St.
